Why firewalls need to be configured for moove online?

Firewalls protect the computer. And a function of them is to prevent contacts from the Internet.

 

When you want to be visited by other members in your house on your computer, then you need to add an entry in your firewall which allow this kind of contact.

Configuration

Generally you need to open in- and outgoing connections on TCP ports 9793 and 9795 as well as UDP localhost for the moove online software "Roomancer" to work with your firewall.

Please note the following:
By using a router it is necessary to configurate the router too. A configuration help is on this page.

But you can set up the TCP ports in moove online Roomancer under "Extras" -> "Options" -> "Service", which (usually 9793 and 9795 presented) should be used for moove online.
